Dante Ferrera
Dante Ferrara is the costumed Tudor minstrel who has entertained thousands throughout his career, playing for special events in many of the UK’s finest venues. His solo concerts comprise several instruments, with the lute, cittern and hurdy gurdy at the heart of his repertoire. Always one to push boundaries, his combination of early music with comedy led him to co-write three shows: The Musician’s Codpiece (1997), Knaves and Fawkes (2005) and Finery & Filth (2007), the latter written to complement his last album Bazimakoo, which delves into the murky world of Restoration England.
