Rob MacKillop

Rob MacKillop is an Edinburgh-based musician, and was the first to devote an entire album to solo guittar playing, with the complete 12 Divertimentis of James Oswald. He had previously recorded pieces from two 17th-century Scottish manuscripts: the Millar/Mcalman manuscript for chromatic cittern - on the CD Flowers of the Forest [Greentrax CDTRAX 27]; and seven pieces from the Robert Edwards manuscript for diatonic cittern - on the CD The Healing [Greentrax CDTRAX 227]. Rob wrote two conference papers on historical Scottish plucked instruments, but preferred life as a performer and YouTube artist. Now retired, Rob 's passion is b&w photography.
